Pesto with garlic is one of the most traditional variations of the famous pesto alla genovese , a typical sauce of Ligurian cuisine, which is prepared with fresh basil , extra virgin olive oil , parmesan cheese (or pecorino), pine nuts and, of course, garlic . Weight: 180 gr.
Garlic pesto is perfect for seasoning pasta (especially trofie or trenette), but it can also be used to enrich meat, fish, or vegetable dishes. It is also delicious as a topping for bruschetta or to add to a pizza.
