Artichoke wedges in oil are a delicious and very versatile ingredient, typical of Mediterranean cuisine, particularly appreciated in Italy. The artichokes are first cleaned, cut into wedges and then preserved in a flavored olive oil, often with garlic, vinegar, black pepper, rosemary or other aromatic herbs. This preservation process gives the artichokes a rich, yet delicate flavor, which makes them perfect as an appetizer or side dish. Weight: 280 gr.
Artichoke quarters in oil are also excellent as a topping for pizza or focaccia, perhaps together with other ingredients such as olives, dried tomatoes, or mozzarella.
